You Don’t Have to Keep It Together Here

Honestly, life can be a lot. Some days it’s a slow drip of “meh” you can’t shake. Other days it’s a full-on dumpster fire where you’re just trying not to burn down with it. Maybe you’re anxious, depressed, grieving, angry, masking so hard you forget who you are, or running on fumes from trying to be “fine” when you’re anything but. I get it and I’m not here to hand you a list of 10 Ways to Be Happy or ask you to meditate your feelings away.

I specialize in working with people who live life outside the boxes—neurodivergent clients (diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or still wondering), LGBTQIA+ teens and adults, and anyone who’s ever felt like they didn’t quite belong. I also work with folks navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, grief, and the kind of life transitions no one warned you about. If you’ve ever thought, “I’m functioning, but barely” or “Am I the only one who feels this way?” no, you’re not. You’re my people.

Therapy with me is honest, compassionate, and human. We’ll talk about the hard stuff, but we might also laugh, swear, or sit in silence when there aren’t words yet. I don’t do therapist voice. I don’t stare and nod for an hour. I show up fully, listen deeply, and ask questions that make you think in ways you haven’t before.

This is a space where you can bring the messy parts, the complicated feelings, the “I can’t believe I just said that” moments, and the version of you you’ve been hiding because you thought no one could handle it.

I know what it’s like to feel misunderstood, mislabeled, or just plain unseen. Because I believe you deserve more than surface-level “how are yous” and quick fixes. Because therapy isn’t about turning you into a “better” version of yourself, it’s about helping you feel safe enough to be the version you already are.

If you’re ready for therapy that’s real, affirming, and maybe even a little funny when you need it most, you’ve found the right place. You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s figure it out together. Contact me at abigail@aphoenix.org
