ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!! English and Spanish Speaking

You Don’t Have to Keep It Together Here

Honestly, life can be a lot. Some days it’s a slow drip of “meh” you can’t shake. Other days it’s a full-on dumpster fire where you’re just trying not to burn down with it. Maybe you’re anxious, depressed, grieving, angry, masking so hard you forget who you are, or running on fumes from trying to be “fine” when you’re anything but. I get it and I’m not here to hand you a list of 10 Ways to Be Happy or ask you to meditate your feelings away.

I'm definitely a kid at heart and want my clients to feel comfortable to be who they are in the moment, and have the space to evolve into what they so wish. My passions lie in creative expression and play therapy, whether with children, adolescents, or adults; in a Winnicottian sense, the mere concept of activating free-will (to a certain extent) is how adults engage in play, and I want to bring it out. My style is definitely client-centered, though I do have a high appreciation for behavior based approaches and "increasing the behaviors we want to see".

What therapy looks like with me:

It’s raw. It’s honest. It’s in English or Spanish, whichever language your pain speaks the loudest in.

I’m not going to just sit there with a clipboard asking, “And how does that make you feel?” (Though, yeah…I might ask it if it actually matters.) I don’t do therapist voice. I don’t sit above you, I sit with you. I listen and I believe you. When you fall apart, I don’t tell you to “get back up.” I sit in the mess with you until you’re ready to move again.

We talk about everything. The shame, the guilt, the pressure, the pride, the fear, the family wounds. The things no one else gets. The impossible expectations. The quiet wish to finally feel free, even if you’re not sure how to get there.

What I will do is show up for real. Authentically and no judgment. Just a human talking to another human about all the messy, beautiful, heartbreaking, confusing parts of being alive.

This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you find you. Your voice. Your worth. Your power. You’re not a diagnosis, you’re a story still being written. And I’m here to help you write the next chapter.

If you’re ready for therapy that’s real, affirming, and maybe even a little funny when you need it most, you’ve found the right place. You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s figure it out together. Contact me at tulip@aphoenix.org or 719-623-4914.
